Northumbria Dance Society

Northumbria dance society offers the opportunity for students of all dancing abilities to partake in a variety of classes, showcasing their current dancing abilities as well as learning new skills. We currently offer competitive and non-competitive classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip hop and Commercial dance, flexibility and fitness class. y members and professional teachers who aim to work towards routines for competitions and our annual show. Northumbria Dance Society have walked away with a record high of 33 trophies in one season, and been awarded Best President, Best Secretary, Best Treasurer, Best Performance Society, Highly Commended Committee of the Year, Highly Commended Volunteer of the Year, Highly Commended Society of the Year 2014/15 and 2016/17 , Best Event x2 2018/19 for our National Dance competition and awarded Northumbria's best student group in 2016!
