A stunning first sunrise here this morning 🌅 We are facing exactly East, so this will be our view each morning. How lovely is that?
The East reminds us that we don’t have to carry yesterday unchanged into today. With each rising sun comes light, possibility and another opportunity to begin again. This feels especially lovely for our Spark to Shine retreat. ✨
The first light doesn’t arrive as the full brightness of midday. It begins as the smallest glow on the horizon and gradually grows brighter. A tiny spark, that ignites, radiates and finally shines.
As ever, when we listen, nature can remind us of so much. We’re not necessarily here to create something new within ourselves, but to have space to notice our light that is already there, and allow it to become a little more visible.
We don’t have to arrive anywhere all at once. We can meet ourselves exactly where we are. Breathe. Move. Notice. And allow ourselves to light up in our own time.
So each morning, as the sun rises directly in front of us, nature gives us a little invitation to pause, and notice this beautiful first light and ask…’what am I ready to meet afresh today?’🌅✨
