StreetGames North East StreetGames North East StreetGames is a network of organisations that delivers sporting opportunities to young people in England, Wales and Scotland.

StreetGames is an award-winning sports charity that brings sport straight to the doorstep of young people living in disadvantaged communities. All projects in the StreetGames network are locally funded and controlled, so group leaders know and understand the communities they work in. This is a radical but effective approach. We call it doorstep sport. Changing sport, changing communities, changing lives

Recently some of the Newcastle Volunteers went to the olympics to watch the Handball, one of them said "The handball was amazing, the crowd was really enthusiastic and supporting and the seats were really good. The players really tried their best and put a lot of effort into playing and we put a lot of effort into cheering them on. The opportunity from streetgames was a once in the lifetime one and we really appreciate it! thank you," Jackie
