A project close to my heart. Three years ago, a brave bunch of talented people took a leap of faith to create this incredible initiative in East Greenland. It’s gone from strength to strength, and I hope there’s so much more to come for the people of Tasiilaq.

I couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group of young people! Through The Polar Academy, lives are being shaped and transformed. These once-invisible kids have come together to form an unbreakable bond and a new kind of family.

April came in fast! New van, a bit of work, loads of climbing, and plenty of good times on the rock with pals.

The next few months are looking packed — at Plas y Brenin, at Glenmore Lodge, my own Paddlesport Instructor course, and a whole lot more time on the ropes and rock.

If you’re keen for some big mountain scrambles, want a bit of teaching input, or fancy dangling in a harness while I practise rescues, give me a shout! I’ve got a few FREE MOC client days available — some in June and loads in July!

Currently out in Azerbaijan working with on my annual winter trip, and so far, it’s been an incredible experience! The culture is definitely unique, but one thing we all share is a deep love for food—and the locals here insist on making sure I never go hungry!
