The journey begins! Since posting about my clients transformations, two guys got in touch after reading the posts and seeing the results. They both made the brave decision to get in touch and get started! The main motivation for both of them was mainly how their lifestyle was effecting their everyday life and work. Working in busy environments and with families at home they both realised that they needed to look at themselves and knew they had to change to a healthier way of life if they want to enjoy it more and get the most out of it. So, after posting one of my clients transformations last week another client said “will you post mine because I want people to see that change is possible and that life does get so much better just by making some simple changes.” He’s right! When he came to me last year his main aim was to drop some weight. After chatting during our sessions it became apparent we needed to look at a few areas that needed addressing in his day to day life. Self employed with a young child at home, an extremely busy growing business with long hours and all the pressures that brings we needed to do a reset and look at how his diet, sleep patterns and quality time with his family could work while prioritising his health for now and the future. We worked out the best time to exercise, what and when to eat, regular sleep pattern, as much as you can with a young child, balanced with family time. The results of this work can be seen in the pictures. By making these changes and putting in the work in the gym he now enjoys life so much more. Heightened mood, vastly raised energy levels, fully committed to his business growth and can keep up with a very energetic child! I couldn’t be happier for him because he has fully invested in himself and is reaping the rewards. If you want to make some changes, get in touch.

I don’t normally post transformation photos but today I am. My 54 year old client came to me 12 weeks ago after getting the results from his doctor that were a bit of a shock to him. Cholesterol level dangerously high, blood sugars high, pre-diabetic and blood pressure high. Deciding he needed to change, he started to look for someone to help him and I was recommended by his family members as they had personal experience of training with me. So, our journey began. Receiving his latest results from the doctor both his doctor and himself were rather surprised! Cholesterol level where it should be, blood sugar normal, NOT pre-diabetic and blood pressure normal! Also 8kg down and starting to shape nicely. How did he achieve this, simple, he asked someone who has done it himself for help. He turned up to every session, was honest with me, listened and did what I asked. No crash diet, just fine tuning, no lung busting sessions, just following an exercise plan, but the main thing was prioritising his health for now and the future. He has embraced his new lifestyle because he has seen the huge rewards he has gained in 12 weeks. Imagine how good he will feel in another 12 weeks. This is one of the gifts that sobriety gives you. A few days skiing with people you love and sunsets that blow your mind. I would never previously have seen this as I would still be in a bar drinking, convincing myself I was having a good time. Instead, I am present to enjoy and share this moment with great people. This sunset beats a drink or a drug any day!

We are all different. That is what I love about my clients. No two sessions are the same, apart from the fun! We all respond to different stimuli and working with my clients we find out what type of training they prefer. Some like just lifting weights, others prefer to mix it up and some have specific goals. Sad to see returning home, also extremely happy for him and the next exciting adventure on his journey. I met Neil when we both started working at Although our backgrounds are different our stories are similar. Neil, you have been a fantastic guy to get to know and I cannot thank you enough for all your help. You have made me a much better coach and inspired me to try and be a better person each day. Thanks for always having the answer to my questions or good advice when needed. Thanks for everything mate, now take your cabinet of trophies and your beautiful wife and get settled so we have somewhere to stay when we visit! Go well my friend, I know you will.

Great fun session this morning. So much fun with the guys this morning, slowish start but we were all soon flying. Well done for all your effort this morning. What a way to kick off the weekend!
