10 years ago we basically decided to get our s**t together…we were absolutely out of shape and it wasn’t going to get any better on that path (swipe for 2015) ➡️➡️

What started as an attempt to lose weight turned out to be the best thing we have ever done. A lifetime commitment to working on us….and even a career change for me so I could help women feel fu***ng incredible!

One whole year of training for Mo! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

53lbs down and 27.5 inches lost! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Here’s a bit of what Mo has to say about her journey so far…

I was at my lowest and fattest. Menopause had kicked in big style (feeling suicidal at times)
Who was I? I was the fat friend who would make jokes about her weight to think I’d fit in more but really I was so unhappy with how I looked and felt. I hated clothes shopping. I could only go to certain shops. Holiday yak, I’m definitely not showing an inch of flesh. I could barely fasten the seat belt on the plane…so embarrassing
So one Sunday morning in July 2024 whilst eating a sausage sarnie crying I found Claire and was booked for the next morning! Claire totally understood me so I started my journey to be fabulous at 50 which was to be in 20 months which is realistic. I wanted to change my habits, live longer and enjoy my life. I wasn’t on a diet…Claire set my calorie intake to suit my goals and it’s all been about lifestyle changes. I have 3 sessions a week with her and it’s now part of my life.
How do I feel now? Bloody fantastic!
Some highlights that make it all worth it…
100kg on leg press after a new knee!
100kg on glute drive!
First measurements buzzing, second…more buzzing and it goes on.
Smaller dress size.
Love shopping again (dangerous).
Whole new holiday wardrobe.
Felt so much better on holiday.
I got that seat belt well fastened on the plane too!
I can now walk in that gym and train on my own if I want to. That is a huge achievement for me
Those are just a few! 😃

I am so proud of myself. I have put the hard work and effort in and changed my mindset and can’t wait to see me at 50 🥳🥳🥳

‘How do you eat so much and not gain weight’ is something I get asked a fair bit.

Firstly, I wasn’t always like this so it’s taken a lot of time to strip fat, build muscle to get to a physique I want to maintain. Then for me it’s a case of strength training 3/4 times a week, my sessions aren’t even an hour long each time. Steps are always above 10k (average around 16k) through work on the gym floor plus we love walking on a weekend. I eat for fuel and nutrition 80% of the time to ensure I get sufficient protein & fibre because recovery and digestion should always be ticked off. 😉 With these things in place my weight rarely changes.

Obviously the more active you are overall will help to create a greater output and we want to eat intentionally for fuel but also life isn’t just about that…there should always be time for eating for absolute pleasure! 🙏

So when it gets to Friday…the only question is…what to choose…pizza, burger, tacos…decisions, decisions!

Helping women gain strength, confidence and change their lives in a positive way since 2018! 💪🏻

Thank you to each and every one of you who has ever trained with me, took one of my classes (you know who you all are Gosforth crew) 😘 and to the people who originally inspired this journey back in 2015!

Then behind the scenes, Philip who cheers on all of my clients, supports them…even takes up challenges with them like epic sled pulls with and keeps me sane on the occasions when I have a wobble. 🫶🏻

I’m inspired by all of you every day and without you lot…I wouldn’t be marking another anniversary. ❤️
