The club is going to have to close for a little while until I am fully back on my feet (waiting on tests and results on a problem with my foot). Will let people know when we're back up and running.

Ray Kidd is starting an aikido class in North Sheilds on Wednesday at the The Parks leisure centre. The full address of the centre is:

This is just off the A19, near the Royal Quays shopping complex. It is fifteen minutes drive from Newcastle, with a large free car park at the venue. Alternatively it is around ten minutes walk from Meadow Well or North Shields metro stations, and several bus routes run near by.
It is a really nice venue, with a large area of high quality judo mats. The training time is Wednesday 19:30 - 21:00, with the first class on February the 10th. The charge is £30 per month and its part of a pool system, so you can train as many times a week if you like - we have classes on Monday at Morpeth, Thursday at Blyth and Friday at Eldon Square. There are 15 classes in the North East!
Everyone is welcome, and also if you know anyone who may be interested in starting Aikido then the formation of a new class would be an ideal time. If you have any queries please message me and I'll pass it on to Ray. Please help publicise! Thanks.
