It’s that time people. This week our team member of the week is Pamela 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s been a great week for Pamela, here’s what the team had to say;

My TMOTW is Pamela. She’s undertaken this amazing challenge to raise funds for one of our Evolve Foundation pillars - I Am Woman. She has risen with the sun everyday this week to row 34km every single day all with the greatest can-do attitude and positivity that one can imagine. Her journey so far is so inspirational and she’s just doing such a wonderful thing to raise money for young girls and women to be able to play a sport they love❤️

This week I’m going for Pamela for her extremely ambitious rowing challenge. 34km a day on that rower is incredible and I can’t begin to imagine the fortitude it takes to sit there for hours every day. Well done Pamela

TMOTW has to be to the English channel’er herself Pamela. She always makes me proud but this week has just confirmed how amazing she is. She is totally mentally and physically out of her comfort zone but her dedication and spirit is still shining through. ❤️🚣🏻‍♀️

No doubt for me this week it’s Pamela for her commitment to her huge rowing challenge. She has been getting up early before work and putting the time in to make sure she gets across the line ! Been so inspiring to watch her battle on

Pamela Redgrave Pinsent herself for COTW for rowing the English Channel every day. EVERY DAY. So proud of her commitment to this challenge and can’t wait to see what this opens up for her! Prayers up for Pamela’s back. ❤️

What an amazing week for Pamela, she’s almost done on her insane 34km a day row challenge and it’s fantastic to see so many of the team inspired by her efforts and the tremendous amount of money she has raised so far!

It’s that time people. This week we have a joint team member of the week with a tie in the voting Adam and Jade 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s been a great week for Adam and Jade, here’s what the team had to say;

TMOTW…
Jade has given it her all this week in the pit. In true Jade style she raised her hand for the pit on Sunday and just got on with it. AND completed her trademark stepper for the team. Jade had smashed this week, but most importantly, she’s a a fantastic human being and team evolve are lucky to have her!

Jade for TMOTW for me. Unbelievable effort in the Pit all week, as well as chalking off a Valhalla, a Proving Grounds, and a ton of other stuff, top effort this week.

Jade is my TMOTW. She stepped up to the pit and just got on with it. She posted incredible times and cleared a huge amount of the board single handed. Anyone who can do that many sled pushes in one session gets my vote everytime.

Adam for TMOW. He’s finally cracked his elusive 1k row PB! Even when life gets in the way for Adam he manages to contribute somehow. Sometimes this is 200 sleds and sometimes this is pushing himself to get PBs. A great team player!

It’s that time people. This week our team member of the week is Vic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

It’s been a great week for Vic, here’s what the team had to say;

Vic A for TMOTW!! This week she has been a force to be reckoned with from starting Hyrox training to absolutely smashing PBs left right and centre in training and championship challenges. She has started this year as she means to go on, and with her bubbly positive mindset I can’t wait to see her achieve her goals.

But VicA stands out for me for her determination to get a deadlift 100kg PB. And then train for the Hyrox with utter 100% determination. And to make sure that she has a trainer for every eventuality and discipline in the Hyrox. David Brailsford with his incremental gains approach would approve!

My vote is for Vic Armstrong for TMOTW. Absolutely smashed the pit challenges this week, as well as a massive Pb on the 5k. Early starts with Lindsey for hyrox training too. Unreal effort.

It’s been a great week for Adam, here’s what the team had to say;

Adam- I miss Adam being on team 2. He’s like this solid foundation of Team Evolve. He has so much encouragement for everyone, he commits and he’s so consistent. Without Adam I would know so much less about running and he’s just all round brilliant

This week for team member of the week it has to be Mr Jones. Always 100% positive and there to support others and he did an amazing job this week in the pit with some big modifiers 🫶🏻

I would like to nominate Adam for teammate of the week. Put in a huge shift in the Pit. And still had the time to provide encouragement and help to others who were attempting the challenges.
Really impressed by his dedication and work rate too.

Great to see the team nominate Adam this week. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the absolute key to getting anywhere with your health and fitness is consistency . The ability to get in and get it done, irrespective of everything else that is going on around you. Never deviating from the commitment you make to yourself and literally never missing a coaching session or an Inferno.

This ability to never not show up is only matched by Adam’s ability to be a champion for others. Always there to offer knowledge, guidance or even just support to any of his team mates he is an absolute asset to the team.

Tough week in the pit this week up against Christine with some big modifiers but that didn’t stop him from putting in some quality numbers. Top this off with some colosseum challenges and a 12km run and you have another mega week in the books.

From 72 minutes 4 weeks ago to a 65 minute run through today we are cooking ❤️‍🔥

Has our fitness improved?

In 4 weeks - not a chance. What we’ve found is 7 minutes of pushing that limit, 7 minutes of driving each other harder with every run through

54 days to Manchester Hyrox and with our original target of sub 65 looking like a lock in, we are right where we need to be for a 60 minute run within 4 months and a place in worlds 🇫🇷

Not all progress is physical - in fact, most of it isn’t

It’s been a great week for Christine, here’s what the team had to say;

Christine for TMOW. She’s always in at that crack of dawn, even in the snow! Absolute team player and always up for a challenge- especially now with her ridiculous ski!

Imray for TMOW her solo charity challenge sounds absolutely mental which is no surprise at all she doesn’t know when to stop, excited to see how she does!

Christine for team member of the week. Always consistent, always at helm of Team 2, and now her amazing solo challenge announced this week ❤️

Christine for TMOTW this week for me. Her 500m times have been tumbling down, she always gives 100% every week, and still manages to get in the gym early every day, regardless of the weather. A real team player.

Another absolutely stellar week for Christine. From hybrid method sessions to fundamentals of weightlifting, Christine always turns up and gives 110%.

Add to this another unreal performance in this weekends Inferno and her usual commitment to herself and her team in the championships and you really couldn’t ask for more as a coach.

Always there to support others and to do what needs to be done to get team 2 across the line she is the epitome of teamwork and an absolute asset to anyone who wants join in and push themselves that little bit further.

This week she has went one step further and announced an absolutely insane challenge to raise funds to start a girls football team at Westmoor Primary School. Her 200,000m ski erg will start on the 10th of December and will be one of the toughest endurance challenges that I have ever been a part of.

Another mega week in the bag…
