Training yourself at the gym is a lot like cutting your own hair.. it’s quite possible, but it’s also much easier for someone else to do it for you!
They’re able to see from angles that you can’t - your form, being one of the most important factors of injury prevention, can be altered and assisted having a personal trainer until you learn the ropes!
