Northumbria University Women's Boxing Female Boxing Club in partnership with GB Boxing, England Boxing and the English Institute of sport based within Northumbria University Newcastle.

The partnership with Northumbria University, GB Boxing, England Boxing, UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport, provides a unique experience for talented female athlete to try their hand at boxing with the focus to develop athletes on to the GB Boxing World Class Programme. Since the advent of Women’s boxing in to the Olympic Programme in 2012, there has been significant development across t

he world in women’s boxing. To maintain the top medal table position in boxing that GB currently commands, the world class programme needs to continue to have world class talent. It is for this reason that we are on the hunt to identify, coach and develop the next female Olympic Champion.
