And we have a wide range of classes for swimmers working towards stages 1-10. Our classes are suitable for school-aged children and adults, and are delivered as small group (max. 6* children) or private sessions. We operate ove

r 48** weeks of the year from the north-east’s premierlearn to swim venues - including PaddlePod (Killingworth), PaddlePod (Shiremoor), PaddlePod (Whitley Bay) and Sport Central (Newcastle).

*Stage 8+ classes are delivered as larger groups

This is something that we are often asked - and it's a really difficult question to answer!

For starters, learning to swim is a journey and you are always learning... no matter how good you are! So, it depends what we - or you! - mean when we say that a child has "learned" to swim. Our definition will likely be different to yours; and yours will be different again to the person sitting next you.
