Happy Easter everyone. Our full coaching program will be starting again on a Sunday afternoon from the 26th April with Ian, Anthony and Bob.

Ages 4-7 1pm
Ages 8-11 2pm
Ages 12-18 3pm
Adults 4pm

We have flexible payment options over our 18 week block from 26th April until the end of August.

Pay £50 to attend 6 out of 18 weeks.
Pay £90 to attend 12 out of 18 weeks.

Our head coach Ian Pearson-Brown is starting his 25th season at the club. To celebrate he is offering a deal for any new kids aged 4-7 who want to try tennis. £25 for 6 weeks of coaching and junior membership (a discount of £20). The classes are join anytime on a Sunday afternoon. Equipment and expert coaching provided by Ian and home grown coach Anthony Simmons
A limited number of spaces available for older children and teens available on the deal on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Our fab new adults have just completed their first course. Well done to David who finished off our 8 week course in style as group champion.

If you’re attending the Garden Village fair this Sunday you or your family are welcome to join in our classes for free. Club chair Ken and coaches Anthony and Jacob will be on hand to make sure you get some free tennis. No kit required.
1pm ages 4-9
2pm ages 10-12
3pm ages 13-16
4pm Adults (ages 17 upwards)
5pm onwards, free play for all ages.

SUNMER TENNIS COACHING IS BACK!!!🎾🎾

New players welcome. 💪💪💪💪

For kids we’d recommend the LTA youth start courses where they get kit (racquet, balls, T shirt and sweatbands), and coaching (6 lessons) for just £35. (Available for ages 4-11).
New for this year: GIRLS ONLY starter session.

For adults we have are friendly beginner and improved regulars who would love to see you down at their Thursday evening class at 6pm. For the more experienced there’s an advanced class at 7pm.

All tennis classes are available to book on here from as little as £5 per session.

A new year means new opportunities. Gosforth GVTC are recruiting for new junior players. We have spaces in all age categories but we are particularly keen to have more kids aged 3-8 take up the sport. One small step for the club, and a giant leap for our tennis.

We have a new court surface! The sand has been completely replaced and those annoying irregularities in the court surface are gone by straightening the fibres of the lawn.
Last Saturday was our first day of play on the new surface and well attended. Funds were also raised for Macmillan Care.
Thank you to REPLAY maintenance who did the rejuvenation.
We are open throughout the year for new members and now is a good time to join. Details of who to contact are on the noticeboard outside our courts or come and meet us on a Saturday afternoon (from 1.30pm) at our social play (weather permitting).
