Introducing our first guests for Power Academy Conference 2026 ⚡️

We are incredibly excited to welcome the Trost family from the world renowned Energizers Dance Team to Glasgow.

Jim Trost & Sheila Trost

Founders and owners of Energizers Dance Team, one of the most successful and respected dance programmes in the world. Their passion, leadership and decades of coaching experience have helped develop athletes and teams to the highest level of competition.

Alexis Trost

A phenomenal 24 time World Champion dancer, Alexis brings a wealth of elite level experience, performance knowledge and coaching expertise.

Cierra Trost

A 15 time Dance World Champion, Sierra has established herself as one of the sport’s most accomplished athletes. Energizers Youth head coach.

It is a family affair! They will be delivering Pom & Kick workshops, sharing her skills, technique, how to maximise score sheets for coaches and championship mindset with attendees. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn from some of the most successful names in the Allstar Dance World.

⚡️ EVENT UPDATE FOR 2027 ⚡️

Due to the incredible growth of Powered Up Blackpool and taking 2026 feedback on board, we have listened 🤞🏻. We have made some adjustments to dates as this allows exciting venue changes to improve the experience for all athletes, dancers, coaches, and spectators in 2027.

NEW DATES - 15th & 16th May 2027

📣 CHEER - BOTH DATES
📍 Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool
✅ Full sprung performance floor
✅ Full warm-up floor
✅ Dedicated track area

💃 DANCE - BOTH DATES
📍 Blackpool Tower Ballroom
✅ Prestigious ballroom setting for competition
✅ Additional open space within the Winter Gardens available for teams throughout the weekend with full floor.

These changes will provide more space, better facilities, and an even greater event experience as Powered Up continues to grow.
