Aikido Seishin Kai

Aikido is a tradition martial art , using throws and locks to perform self defence. Aikido's movements are derived from Samurai principles, and the weapons content of the practice is with a wooden sword ( bokken) and wooden staff ( Jyo). Once the principles are realised and harmony is felt, it removes the distinctions between the young and old, large and small, men and women.

Aikido trains both the mind and body, leading to greater awareness of self and the world around us. TRAINING NIGHTS ARE:-

Tuesday Nights at Fenton Manor Sports Complex. Children and Adults 6:30pm till 8:30pm
£7 per person

Wednesday Night at St.Andrew's Church Hall, Lawson Terrace, Porthill, ST5 8PB
Adults class 7:30 till 9:30pm
£7 per person

Thursday night at St.Andrew's Church Hall, Lawson Terrace, Porthill, ST5 8PB
Adults Class 7:30 till 9:30pm
£7 per person

If you decide to give it a go your 1st 2 lessons are free,then you must pay £7 per year for insurance if you wish to continue training. There is a lesson payment and yearly membership to pay.

I have just been advised of the sad news of the passing of Terence Bayliss Chairman of the Seijitsu Aikido Ryu who passed away peacefully today. He was also a major part of the British Aikido Board as a Coach Tutor, Membership officer and and the BAB Club Mark Officer.
