Some good news from the team 👏

We’ve been awarded the ARCA Gold Training Award 2026 — one of just 66 asbestos contractors in the UK to receive it this year.

To qualify, at least eight of the team had to train with ARCA during the year and average 92.5% or higher across every course. It’s a measure of how everyone performed, not just one or two people.

Training is what makes licensed asbestos work safe, and it’s not something you can see from the outside. This is one of the few independent markers that shows it.

A lot of older garage roofs across Staffordshire and Cheshire are asbestos cement. They're generally fine left alone — the thing to avoid is drilling, breaking or pressure-washing them.

🏗️ On site this week in Saltney, Chester.

We're safely removing around 1,200m² of asbestos insulating board (AIB) ceilings and firebreak panels — carried out in four fully sealed enclosure phases, under controlled conditions from start to finish.

AIB is one of the higher-risk asbestos materials, so this is licensed work that has to be done by a licensed contractor — exactly the kind of project our team handles day in, day out.

Samples go to a UKAS-accredited lab, all waste is disposed of through registered carriers, and the site is left clean and safe.

Another project completed — this time in Crewe.

We were appointed to carry out the removal of asbestos insulating board (AIB) soffits externally at a community building in Crewe. AIB is a licensed material, requiring a fully controlled approach — a full enclosure was erected prior to any removal works taking place, with all waste removed, consignment-noted and disposed of safely.

The team worked around the building's volunteers throughout, keeping disruption to an absolute minimum.
