I haven’t been into health and fitness all my life; I was one of the girls at school who always hated PE (apart from swimming, which was the one sport I was good at!) arnt the importance of being active and staying fit, you certainly needed stamina for hours of dance rehearsals! Shortly after graduating from uni I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, which finally gave me an answer to my constant tiredness and stomach problems. But unfortunately there is no cure; all I can do is follow a gluten free diet. So it’s from this moment that I began to realise the value of eating a healthy balanced diet. To cut a long story short, I decided to step away from the dance world and become a fitness instructor. My ambition grew, I passed more qualifications (Personal Trainer, Advanced Fitness Instructor, Advanced Boxing Instructor to name just a few) and gained years of experience. Consequently my drive and passion in this industry is stronger than ever! Due to medical reasons I now have to follow not only a gluten and wheat free diet, but also a milk free diet! Yes this can be a pain, but being qualified in nutrition and weight management makes it easier to handle! As a result, I can honestly say from firsthand experience that exercise combined with a healthy diet can lead to an improved quality of life! However, I understand that at times some people need more motivational support than others when implementing these simple changes into their lifestyle, which is why I’m here to help, whether this is through Personal Training, classes or on-line support
