Earlier today I was thinking I love Autumn 🍂🍁. Then I thought- wow, another season that’s flying by for WIP.
We have some real ups and downs as a small business, but also some amazing times with the people who train with us. Balance, hey? ⚖️😰🧘🏼♀️
Running a small business isn’t easy. In fact, it’s way more challenging than my corporate job EVER was — and a hell of a lot less financially rewarding! 💸 😂
But the different people I get to spend time with make it worth it. 💯
We have our core gang — our “glue”, so to speak — and we’ve had others who have been and gone. And that’s totally normal through the revolving door of fitness, as Christian Dale often reminds me.
There have been several times when we’ve thought, enough is enough. Times when we’ve been ready to call WIP quits.
But then we choose to keep going.
Because: just because you love doing something, doesn’t mean it will ever be easy.
A bit like fitness, really. 😉
The support we’ve had over the last 5 years has been amazing, and I’m incredibly grateful.
So I’ll keep showing up — and I hope you will too. I’ll keep motivating you to chip away at your goals, have fun, work hard and, sometimes, be pushed right to your limit. 💪🏼
⭐️ And yes, I know I can be harsh on occasion… I don’t scream or shout (often!). I try to display my passion by leading by example, cueing you when needed, celebrating your wins 🙌 and showing disappointment when needed… IYKYK. 🙊 Because, if fitness was easy, everyone 🌍 would be fit.
So, thank you to each and every one of you for your loyalty, your trust, your friendship — and for putting up with me (see ⭐️ above).
Here’s to more seasons of showing up, putting in the work, having a laugh and keeping each other going. ❤️
Alexandra — fitness enthusiast and trainer first. Businesswoman… haha, never. 🙊
