Newbury & Thatcham Community Tennis Based at Newbury TC, Thatcham TC and Victoria Park, where you can play all year for just £50!

Newbury Tennis Club welcomes tennis players of all ages and abilities. We have four floodlit courts and we are able to offer a tennis coach for those wishing to start playing tennis and we have an extensive coaching programme for juniors with our coaching partner, National Tennis Association (NTA). For more advanced tennis players who would like to play in league matches we have regular match practice sessions on a Thursday evening. We also have social sessions on Tuesday evening (book online) and Sunday afternoon 2-4pm (just turn up and play).

Finals Day is tomorrow! Sunday 13th September

We would love to see as many of you there as possible, supporting your finalist and your club!

Please feel free to bring a camping chair/deck chair. The club have a limited supply of chairs.

Here is the day's schedule:

9am - Pickleball
10am - Ladies Singles, Vets Singles and Mens Doubles Plate
11.30am - Mens Doubles, Juniors 2, Vets Ladies Doubles
12.30-1.30pm (approx.) - Pizza and Fastest Serve
1.30pm - Mixed Doubles, Mixed Doubles Plate and Juniors 1
3pm - Mens Singles, Ladies Doubles, Vets Mens Doubles

There will be a hot drinks and cake sale 10-12pm, by one of our very own pickleball players raising money for a Malaysia trip to help turtle conservation.

We have also purchased a pizza oven so the pizza's on us at lunch time 12:30-1pm (donations are always welcome).

Please do come down and say hello, grab a slice of pizza and support your finalists.

What a fantastic day at the Newbury Pickleball Festival yesterday!

Great matches, lots of smiles, and a brilliant atmosphere both on and off the courts. It was wonderful to see players of all ages and abilities coming together to enjoy this fast-growing sport.
