Cheltenham Preview Evening…….Don’t forget about this great event next Wednesday. Fantastic panel including Jamie from Jamie Snowden Racing who trains Wendigo and Legendary Luke for Racing Club . Also Mark if Mark Grant Racing , Liam Headd of Racing Post and Joe Hill . No need to book just £10 on the door at Newbury Racecourse.

Today the WBRC were welcomed to Joe Tizzard - Tizzard Racing and what a splendid visit for our members. We had the privilege of seeing Joe’s Cheltenham horses on the near by gallops before a relaxed tour of the various barns. Super location and great team of people. We will be cheering them on come the Festival!

Congratulations to Richard from Richard Phillips Racing and his team winning the West Berkshire Racing Club Annual Quiz. Very stiff competition from many racing professionals and enthusiasts, as well as an enjoyable event.
Also congratulations to Richard Hoiles and his team including Dan from Dan Horsforth Racing Yard on winning the plate competition.

This morning on route to Cheltenham Trials our coach stopped to visit Charlie Longsdon’s racing yard. One of the horses ‘Mysterland’ took a particular liking to Barbara’s handbag! Was she hiding a carrot in there? 🥕
