Hi All,
On the topic of progression, there is nothing quite like an event to get the motivational juices flowing. Experience on different waters and exposure to different circumstances is so beneficial in bringing paddlers on. The Hasler series is fantastic fo this but I've also included a good number of International races to follow and aspire to complete. Some require more experience than others. Ask around the club for those who have experience of the various races but rest assured that all Hasler races are very accessible if you can sit in a K boat.

Any ice updates out there for the weekend?

Right people! What’s happening? What sort of training are you athletes getting up to? Spies out there on the canal say some are putting in some great work on the water! Secret (legal) training is the best training. Own up, own up...

Dear Members,
Developments in the boat house are imminent and we are constantly trying to make improvements.
To this end, we will be doing a full audit of all club and personal equipment stored in the boat house on the 26th of October, 2020.

We hope that improvements will include
1. Labelled, designated storage area for each boat/member to use (rather than random non allocated spaces).
2. Forward planning for space requirements in the future.
3. Appropriate allocations of spaces for boats more frequently used.

Important: Boats that are not identified on up to date, paid membership forms will have orange tape places across their cockpits signally to the owners that something is array. If this equipment remains in situ, without further communication from the owner, the equipment will be removed after the 30th of November.

Please do ensure membership forms are fully detailed with equipment descriptions and if in doubt, make contact with us if this might affect you.

Hi all,
There has been a bit of movement in the boat house today. A few notes below:

Please take care over the different surface as you enter the right hand section of the boathouse.
Paddles may have been moved around to necessitate this, apologies.
Club paddles need proper packing away with care (a new system for this is inbound).
Private paddles are ideally kept inside your own private boat.
Club Buoyancy aids and splash/spray decks need hanging up (a new system for this is inbound).
Private boiyancy aids and splash/spray decks are ideally hung over the front of your own private boat.

Get paddling!
