Celebrating Six Years of One Community Cricket
As part of National Inclusion Week, we are proud to be hosting the 6th annual One Community Cricket & Family Fun Day at the Main Ground, Falkland Cricket Club.
Over the past six years, One Community Cricket has grown into much more than a sporting event. It has become a celebration of diversity, inclusion, friendship and community spirit, bringing people together through a shared love of cricket and connection.
This year's event will see 12 community teams come together, representing people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, abilities and genders. The diversity of the teams reflects the strength of our communities and demonstrates how sport can create opportunities for everyone to belong, participate and thrive.
Whether competing on the field or cheering from the boundary, every person attending plays a part in creating an environment where everyone is welcome.

At a time when communities can often feel divided, events like One Community Cricket and Family Fun Day remind us of what we have in common. Cricket provides the platform, but the real success is the conversations, friendships and understanding that develop when people come together.
For six years, this event has celebrated the belief that diversity is a strength and that communities are stronger when everyone feels valued, respected and included. It is a living example of the National Inclusion Week message:

As families enjoy a day out, local organisations connect with residents, businesses showcase their services, and players take to the field, we celebrate not only cricket but also the people who make our communities so vibrant.
