💙 Reflecting on Last Night 💙
It’s moments like last night that allow us to sit back and truly appreciate everything that has been built over the last 10 years.
When we talk about what we’ve achieved, it’s never just about results (although of course they help 🤣). It’s about looking around a packed room and seeing hundreds of smiling faces. It’s about watching children, parents, teachers, past dancers and friends all together in one place, laughing, celebrating, dancing and making memories.
No matter what team, what age, or how long you’ve been part of KLA, everyone came together as one family, and that is something incredibly special.
Last night was a celebration of so much more than dance. It was a celebration of friendship, loyalty, commitment, resilience, and the countless memories we have shared over the years. It was a reminder of how far we have come and how many amazing people have been part of this journey.
Seeing everyone sharing photos, reliving special moments and creating new memories filled our hearts with so much pride. Looking around that room, seeing generations of KLA together, was a feeling that is difficult to put into words.
Throughout the evening we reflected on some truly precious moments, and Jimmy was very much at the heart of those.
The letter J shone brightly throughout the night, and the memory table was never without visitors. Seeing so many people stop, share stories, smile and remember him was both emotional and beautiful. It was a powerful reminder of just how loved Jimmy was and always will be.
His presence could be felt throughout the evening and reminded us all of something so important — life is precious. Enjoy every dance, every lesson, every competition, every rehearsal and every laugh with your friends. We are all incredibly lucky to do what we love, surrounded by people who care about us.
Events like this don’t just happen overnight. The amount of planning, organisation and hard work that goes on behind the scenes is immense. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making the evening such a success. Your support never goes unnoticed.
A very special thank you must also go to the incredible team at ICC Wales. From start to finish they were absolutely fantastic, and every little detail was taken care of perfectly. The venue looked amazing and helped create a night we will never forget.
Most importantly, thank you to every single person who has been part of KLA’s journey. Whether you have been with us from day one or joined us more recently, you have helped shape KLA into what it is today.
Ten years ago, KLA was just a dream.
Last night showed us that it has become so much more than that.
