Meadows GPM Summer Cup

A great day at Melton Mowbray Golf Club with 29 players in attendance for the Meadows GPM Summer Cup.

A big thank you to Meadows GPM and Ellis Metcalfe, for sponsoring the event, and to everyone at MMGC - especially Joel and Angie - for the warm welcome and hospitality throughout the day.

Jake Soper won the trophy today, with a cracking 40 points.

Jakes been on a journey with the society, rarely misses an event and rarely sees the top half of the leaderboard, so I couldn't think of a better winner for the event today.

The first society day of the year saw us head to Ramsdale Golf Club for the RJJW Spring Cup, kindly sponsored by Rob Kitchen. ⛳

A fantastic 36 players turned up to play — our biggest turnout yet, making it a great start to the year for the society.

James Munson took the win with an impressive 40 points, making it back-to-back victories after also winning the event last year. 🏆

A big thank you to Rob Kitchen for sponsoring the day and to Ramsdale for the great hospitality and a course in fantastic condition.

The final society day of the year saw us head to Melton Mowbray Golf Club

Rob Kitchen took his long awaited win, which saw him lift the Winter Cup, kindly sponsored by Geoff Gillies.

Melton Mowbray showed us a great welcome and hospitality and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and course for our last event of the year. The course was in great condition and we will definitely be heading back to visit.
