Exciting news received while I’m away. Last week I interviewed to get on to the National Development Programme for Coaching Excellence. This runs annually across all the equestrian disciplines, and works cross sport. Going to be amazing to get the opportunity to attend these sessions and learn. Watch this space! 💪💪

Few hours available at weekends here at Tinderbox. Every other Sunday to start with and might be more with holiday cover. 8-11 then 3.30-5.30. Nice horses. Standard yard work. Must be trustworthy and reliable!! Lovely place to work if you do your job and love the horses. 😍😍. Ideally able to drive yourself

Quick trip up to Elms farm last week where Widget jumped her first Discovery. Still working on the basics, especially her confidence in the warm up with other horses, but really pleased with how she’s coping.
George came for a pop around the Fox for a nice double clear, not been able to get out much this summer with family circumstances. So nice to give him a spin!

Just putting the feelers out there.

Just a Game (Max) is 19 now. He’s still really fit and well, but I retired from eventing, at any decent level, 2yrs ago. He is a Grade 1 horse, evented up to 4* level in his day. Jumped to fox and dressage to Adv med.

Just thinking about loaning him so he’s still someone’s pride and joy. 😍. He’s too sound and well to retire.

He would happily dressage and lower level jump. Would want him to stay at mine on livery as he’s been here his whole life and is out with my jumper at night (can’t split up that bromance!)

Staying here would also ensure that training and support is ongoing.

He will pick his rider!! 😝.

Bella went to her first ‘proper’ party this weekend. Great event run by Belvoir PC at Buckminster. Huge amount of work had gone in, and the going was great considering the current weather! ☀️
She was fab dressage and SJ ( but has practised this more), but I was most proud of her XC! She’s hardly done any schooing or outings,due to my commitments, but tried really hard and learnt loads. Felt very wobbly to start, but is so genuine she kept trying for me.

Didn’t post at the weekend as felt a bit strange to post what a proud owner I was with everything that happened in our community. So sad for the families of the riders involved. There are no words for the aftermath. Thoughts are with them. 😢💔
