This weekend at Girton SC sees the Supernova class Association hold a free training day on Saturday and the Supernova Northern travellers open on Sunday.
Lots of activity around the club all weekend. Members can still use the water but please keep the beach area clear and please don’t obstruct the water activities.
The weather is looking good. See you there.

For our new sailing members or those members just wanting some advice, there will be an insturctor at the club on Saturday to assist as needed. Not a training session per se, just a helping hand!

Sailing backwards? It’s more useful than you think.
Capsize drills? A good way of cooling off this weekend!
Rudderless sailing? Rudders do break or fall off!
Roll tack? Very useful in light winds.
Rigging, launching, recovery questions?
Or just have a sail in company

Be there between 10am and 2pm.

Looks like a nice weekend ahead of us. Social sailing / paddle with a safety boat from 10am-2pm Saturday. Dinghy racing from 11am on Sunday. Come and make use of your membership and enjoy the lake. See you there.
