Summer Solstice 10K
Eight Newark Striders competed in a field of 399 runners at the Summer Solstice 10K in Long Bennington on Friday, 19 June 2026. The club secured outstanding category results, led by a brilliant 1st place division finish (11th overall) from Simon Daniel.

The Newark Striders turned out in full force for Race 3 of the Nottinghamshire AAA Summer League at the iconic Wollaton Park. Sporting their official club vests on a classic mid-week summer evening, members took on the challenging and beautiful 5-mile course winding through the estate's park roads and stone paths. Facing a strict headphone ban and zero finish-line hydration support, the Striders showcased phenomenal pacing, grit, and team spirit from start to finish.
