The juniors were back, all refreshed from their summer break!! With Eli fully qualified over the summer, Paul raring to go and a new coaching plan in place, it promises to be an exciting season for all the juniors. There are still places available on Squash Stars if anyone is interested in trying out squash this September.

Grove B hosted Retford in their final summer league match. The opposition brought a strong team and Daniel did well collecting as many points as he did at three string. Tim also found the going tough and it didn't get any easier for Dave playing in the number one spot. Team training will now intensify as they prepare for the autumn leagues.

Grove C enjoyed a trip to Mansfield B in their final match of the summer. Anna once again demonstrated the improvements in her game as she pushed an experienced opponent all the way. Simon battled it out once more against an old foe and managed to sn**ch a game. It was left to Susan to claim the only victory of the night with a magnificent win. Training for the new season starts now!! 💪🏻
