I BLOODY LOVE TRAINING THIS GUY!!!!!

At 61 years YOUNG;
EVERY week without fail he shows up….
EVERY week without fail he gives his ALL….
EVERY week without fail I can see his mobility increase….

WOW!!!

What a journey this has been so far! All those amazing inductions, programmes, PT sessions and group classes and ALL THOSE AMAZING PEOPLE I MET ALONG THE WAY! If I have helped change at least one life, then it’s all been more than worthwhile and this one is for all of you. Very fortunately, some of you even became friends.

When I was told I was being nominated was a shock….why? All I do is my job and it is my job to be as motivating and encouraging and energetic as I possibly can. Disregarding whatever I am going through in the moment, as it’s all about the people that pay and the experience they get and I like my sessions to run like the greatest Movie….an intro that gets you hooked and fired up, a middle that keeps you in suspense and and ending that leaves you wanting to come back for more😂

No, I did not win and I’ve received way more personal satisfaction from seeing people succeed than any award can provide, but it is nice to be recognised and awarded this achievement! Especially from a charity that has helped me a lot, personally, in my own journey. Here’s to many more victories GUYS AND GIRLS!!!

Isn’t it a tragedy that the majority of you, will never realise the potential that your body is capable of! And have no interest in finding out. Such a shame you will never realise true potential or greatness😫

If you are however up for a challenge, I know a very good PT that will get you EXACTLY where you want to be physically and MOST importantly, psychologically.

Today’s topic….ANXIETY!

So, today has been a bad one for me personally on the Anxiety front. Woke up with a fear of the World and today has been about coping with it, getting through and being patient with myself!

Exercise is ALWAYS my go to, but even us PT’s struggle with that motivation on these days. Especially when the majority of our jobs is motivating and inspiring others.
What I do, is try and deal with the worst of it, with patience and kindness and then when the meat of the feeling has subsided, it’s time to relieve the body of the rest of that stress and exercise it all away. It works….in the end.

Interested to know how you guys cope, when you’re having bad days? What are your coping mechanisms?
