Barton-on-Sea Golf Club is renowned as a friendly club; owned and run by the members, where the members come first! We have:

- 3 loops of 9 holes give great variety and accessibility
- Superb drainage ensures we are virtually always open and also have very few trolley or buggy bans
- Reciprocal arrangements with 14 other top clubs (members only)
- Excellent practice facilities with a large driving range, short game area and two practice putting greens
- A well stocked Pro shop
- Two Professionals available for lessons

As we start to head towards the end of September, some golfers may already be thinking about putting the clubs away for the winter.

Thanks to Barton-on-Sea’s well-draining course, our members can enjoy golf throughout most of the year — making the most of the course long after the summer season has finished.

Today we’re saying a big thank you to the team behind the scenes at Barton-on-Sea Golf Club.

Maintaining a coastal golf course is no easy task. From the greens and fairways to the bunkers and rough, our greenkeeping team work throughout the year to keep the course in the best possible condition.

Their dedication, knowledge and hard work are a huge part of what makes a round at Barton so enjoyable. ⛳

Choose the right club from the tee to avoid the fairway bunkers and give yourself the best opportunity to attack the green.

Your approach should then take the pin position into account. If the flag is on the back tier, be sure to take an extra club to give yourself enough to reach the pin.

Good decisions and smart course management can make all the difference.
