Afternoon

I've had a lot of messages lately about making donations or if I have any boots available.

We don't at the moment I am afraid.

We will be taking donations around the end of the season but I'll post again when that is open.

Morning all,

Great news we have managed to find a home for all the boots we had in storage, a quantity of which have been donated to Tranmere in the community who are doing similar to this but obviously on a much larger scale.

We cannot take any more donations at the moment but will be again soon.

As the kids approach the end of the season, I would really appreciate if people could consider donating any old boots to us.

If people are looking for new boots feel free to give us a shout before next season and we will see if we can help you out.

Since starting in January we have donated roughly 400 pairs of boots to various schools, charities and the wider public.

It's working, but we need your continued support to ensure sport can be accessed by as many people as possible.

Hello all,

Some good news, we've now had that many donations over the last few days, we physically can't take any more as we have ran out of storage.

We have a range of sizes of both astro and boots so please give us a shout if you need any.

By the end of next week any that have not gone will be taken to a range of primary or secondary schools in the local area and we will then have the space to start taking further donations. Please do not bin any boots you have, we will take them ASAP.

Hi everyone.

We have now reached the point of having to tell people we don't have a lot of boots left due to the extremely high demand over the last week or two.

As ever, we are open to donations and in particular need kids sizes, from a 11 up to a size 4.

If you have any sitting spare please let us know, we can collect locally.

Please share this message with your friends family and any of your kids football teams.

As ever, the boots are redistributed completely free to those in need.

Thanks for everyone's support so far. We've done amazing and given out around 150 pairs already since January.

Evening all,

We are back now collecting boots after taking a short break over the half term.

With the return of grassroots football now penciled in for the end of March, if you are trying on your kids old boots for size please keep us in mind for if they don't fit. .

I have been asked by another primary school if we can make a donation to them so we are really after the sizes 12-5 kids boots, however anything bigger we will still happily take them from you.

The Wirral Boot Hub supplies football boots/trainers in the community that would otherwise end up in the bin.

The boots are all used but in good/excellent condition, some have barely been worn due to lockdown and the previous owner now needing a bigger size.

If you are looking for some footwear please contact Dan at Wirral Boot Hub (you can search for them on Facebook.)

The boots are completely free and can be collected from Wallasey or Dan can deliver them to your home.
