Just a quick update! Marty, Cayle and Theo set off on the 18th and are all doing well! They have decided to take a day off as now with a reduced team, it’s a lot more work to move the all the kit around. They are waiting for the tides to be in the right place, so will be getting up very early tomorrow morning, planning to be on their way at 5am. Thank you for everyone’s continued love and support 😊🚣‍♂️🌊💪🏼

UPDATE - Having paddled over 1600km in 60 days, from Washington State to Petersburg Alaska, a route that is notoriously difficult and certainly not for the faint hearted, 5 members of Team Forces of Nature have to head home for work and families as a result of the delays we experienced at the start of the trip. Although this is a very tough pill to swallow, the boys can hold their heads incredibly high knowing they have achieved a once in a life time challenge. They volunteered for this adventure without hesitation and have shown pure commitment, dedication and resilience for the last 4 and half years, throughout their training and indeed the adventure itself, carrying .not.forgotten flag high and clear for the benefit of those that needed to hear their message, we will not be defined by disability. Lads, thank you, congratulations! It has been a pleasure sharing this extraordinary adventure with you!
Team Forces of nature is now a split call sign, the finish line is almost in sight. With 10 days to Juneau and a further 8 days to Skagway, Marty, Cayle and Theo will paddle north on Tuesday morning. They have prepared 3 single kayaks, have been fully briefed by the team doctor and have reassessed the task ahead.

The team have been blessed with glorious weather yet again! This was filmed yesterday. The alarm clocks went off at 0200 for a 0400 departure to catch the tide over Dry Straight, just north of Wrangell. Tonight will be beers and burgers in Petersburg. Top effort lads!

The boys have passed through the rapids, crossed over Johnstone Straight and have now paddles over 700km! They should be incredibly proud of their efforts so far! #2023

We have now paddled over 500km since the start of our adventure! With the first quarter done, the mountains are getting bigger and the current stronger. Bring on the next 1500km!!! The boys are going well and looking forward to passing through the rapids in the coming days.
