Once again another fun run this week. Just over 5km with a slightly increased pace. Social distanced at all times but not no one gets left behind. Start and finish together with regular pauses to regroup.

Great effort from one of our new members. He ran 100km in September. Incredibly he has only been running with us 5 weeks and has already progressed so well. Great work Sean!

Lovely group tonight. 15 runners of very mixed speeds and fitnesses. We always start and finish together. Had a blast around the wonderful trails of this beautiful town. We love you Alresford.

I love getting messages like this after a run. This is from one of the new guys that come for the first time last night. We aren’t just a run club, we are a group of friends that like to run. I am always happy to give advice and tips on running technique or training plans.

It was a great atmosphere at the club last night. A real community feeling. So nice to get lovely messages like this after a club night. This guy is doing so well. He freely admitted he was bike fit but not running fit and now the running is helping his bike fitness too.

WE ARE BACK. Sorry to shout but we are very excited. We now meet most Wednesday evenings in Alresford with alternative road and trail runs. It feels so great to have the guys back running together. New members always welcome so send me a email for more information. ******er

Ho guys. Please take the time to read this and donate. A local guy is raising money for this cousin’s cancer treatment.

My name is Jonathan Green and I am planning to run the South Downs trail (all 100 miles) between the 1st and the 4th August in an effort to help raise funds for my cousin Mark’s urgent cancer treatment.

Mark is only 38 years old and has two young children. He has been battling skin cancer since 2003 but in the last 4 years it has got more serious. Mark's last option is to receive potentially lifesaving treatment abroad but this treatment will cost in excess of £150,000 and time is of the essence.

I will start the run in Eastbourne on Saturday 1st August (time to be confirmed). I have competed in various running events including half marathons and a Marathon although nothing of this magnitude. It would be great if anyone wanted to join me for any part of the run for a bit of support or donated a small amount to his cause. I am on Strava, just search for Jonathan Green, location Alresford.
