The best of luck to Georgia Richardson and Louise Caplen (both Stoneham Golf Club), and Alima Kassim (Liphook Golf Club) as they participate in the County Champion of Champions Women’s, Senior Women’s and Girls’ event respectively this weekend on the Bracken course at Woodhall Spa. 🍀🍀🩵🍀🍀
Alima plays 36 holes on Saturday, Louise plays 36 holes over 2 days on Saturday/Sunday and Georgia plays 36 holes on Sunday.

Our very own County Champion, Georgia Richardson (Stoneham Golf Club), continues her winning streak. Many congratulations - we’re super proud of you 👏 🩵⛳️

𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 - 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 👧

Georgia Richardson claimed victory in the final Bronte Law Junior Series event of the year at Moor Allerton Golf Club, edging fellow England Golf teammate Daisy Lee by just one shot.

Richardson fired rounds of 71, 72 and 71 to finish on -5, carding an impressive 11 birdies across the tournament. Lee finished close behind on -4, while Grace Gill secured third place on +5.

Wishing Jenny Readman and her Corhampton Golf Club trio of Tammy Rowe, Hatty Richardson and Kathryn Stewart the very best of luck as they represent Hampshire in the English Women’s Champion Club competition at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club⛳️🩵🍀
As winner of last year’s North Hants Trophy, the team play 36 holes over 2 days - the best 2 (from 3) gross scores count. Let’s hope the rains holds off 🤞

After 5 years as Runners-Up, our County 2nd team had a nail-biting 5-4 win against Kent yesterday to win the Stovold Trophy 🏆 A huge congratulations to all the players, especially our last minute stand-ins Jenny Readman & Millie Atthis!

39 clubs competed yesterday for the Centenary Foursomes and it was particularly nice to see 4 clubs from the Isle of Wight and Royal Jersey Golf Club participating! We somehow managed to dodge the rain and the players enjoyed cooler but muggy conditions!
Congratulations to the Liphook Golf Club pairing of Cath Anderson and Mary Moffat, this year’s winners with an impressive 38 points and to the Cowes Golf Club pairing of Jude Ferris and Jackie Graham, runners up with 35 points, on c/b from Paula Cheshire and Bridget Wood from Barton-on-Sea Golf Club ⛳️👏👏
A huge thanks to Weybrook Park Golf Club for looking after us all so well. The course was in great condition, despite the heatwaves and everyone enjoyed your food and hospitality 🙏

Today, Captain Eilean’s team challenged some of our Junior Performance and Projection squad players to compete for the Elke Jackson Trophy, the reinstated 4BBB annual match.
A lovely, fun day was had by all cumulating in an honourable draw. President Mary witnessed some very close matches, great golf and the sun continued to shine. Congratulations to all the players 👏🩵⛳️and a big thanks to Southwick Park Golf Club for the very warm welcome.

Our County Teams have been busy over the last few days recording 5 good wins for Team Hampshire. On that boiling hot day last Thursday 🥵our Vets played a friendly against Somerset at The Mendip Golf Club and won 4.5 - 2.5 and our Seniors played a friendly against Surrey at Sandford Springs Golf Club and also won 2.5 - 1.5. The next day our 2nd team played a blinder against Sussex in the Stovold Trophy at Waterlooville Golf Club winning 6 - 3, retaining their unbeaten record. Yesterday our Seniors retained their unbeaten record in the Southwood Salver at Hartley Wintney Golf Club beating Oxfordshire 4.5 - 2.5 and our Vets team also won 4 -3 in a tight friendly match against Wiltshire at South Wi******er Golf Club. Well done to all the players - it’s great to see our teams all doing so well and looking so fit and healthy! 🩵⛳️😎
