The annual Nettleham Tennis Club fun tournament to mark the start of the tennis season was a triumph today.

Lots of current and potential members took to the village courts to play mixed doubles. Some superb tennis was played, all in a great, friendly spirit. Even the break in the weather couldn’t spoil it!

Well done to everyone that played. Hattie Gill and Christine Johnson tied for the top spot in the ladies competition and David Gill claimed the men’s top spot.

Thanks also go to the volunteers who make up Nettleham Tennis Club committee for organising the tournament.

Fantastic turnout tonight for the weekly social tennis. We had a great mix of players (all ages and abilities!) with all three courts full and everyone enjoying playing some tennis in this lovely spring weather. What could be better?

We’re here every Friday from 7-9pm - do come and join us!
