A fantastic day for the PING Junior Golf Tour , what a set up! 130 of the best Junior golfers from the four nations. A huge well done to Kev Riley, Richard Lupton ,Captains and the starter and ball spotters. Rather fitting to have Drakey overseeing their first tee shots.

Many thanks to those who played in our Nelson Golf Club Seniors Team Open Yesterday.

Well done to the prize winners and I hope you enjoyed the day.

Yesterday we had the "Junior Masters" hosted by Ritchie Riley Golf .

It was a magical day of Golf , Fun and Fundraising . The golfing gods provided a brilliant backdrop of weather for a great day .

So much positive feedback on what was a wonderful day .

Many comments on the organisation from the Junior Team as well as the condition of the course.

Over £1500 raised for Pendleside Hospice in the memory of Gary Hughes and Paul Shackleton . Both of whom sadly took their own lives in the last few years.

Gary's son Aiden played in the tournament and had a great day.. On father's day ... bravery in its purest form.

Thanks for all the support for this event from club officials , and a moving speech for the Juniors from Gents Captain Dave Cryer.

Thanks to all the juniors who travelled to this event from all over the country, some made a 600 mile round trip !

Well done to all the category winners who earned a place at the Champion of Champions in Ireland in 2027 , and all of the entrants. Not forgetting the parents who are vital in any junior events success.
