We are on as usual this Saturday at the David St WMC…club open from 10am and sessions start from 11am…we will also be playing our 3 World Matchplay Finals 🎯🎯🎯

Novices - Hayden vs Archie
Intermediates - Cody vs Ole
Elites - Alfie vs Ethan

Can we ask as always students come in the correct attire, proudly wearing your academy shirts and be on time so we can start promptly.

If you are unable to make it for any reason please then message so we are aware as we had a number of students not attend this last week with no notice, we understand it has been the holidays but do let us know.

We are now into Sept so it is also time for subscription’s so it is £24 for Sept, as we are back at a 4 week month.…unless playing in official JDC or WDF competition or have a pre-booked holiday then it is reduced accordingly, thanks to those that have already paid 🙏.

Good Evening All

We are really pleased to announce that after a lot of deliberation and thought especially given the calibre of students we have, our Target Pathway Player for 2026/27 is Arthur Ellison….👏👏👏

Arthur has been at the academy from almost the beginning, joining in Nov 2024 just a month after we opened our doors.

Arthur has really developed as a player over the last 2 years and is now a regular on the JDC Foundation Tour, along with entering JDC Volts and making it through to the North West Regional Finals on more than one occasion. He plays in the local league on a Thursday representing the Crown Hotel in Colne in the Pendle Darts League, and he also made his Lancashire Superleague debut for West Craven in the Elite League winning both his games.

At the academy he is also our current UK Open champion for this year and made the semi-finals of our World Matchplay last weekend.

We know Arthur will do himself and the academy proud over the next 12 months and we greatly appreciate the opportunity that Target have provided him and the academy 🎯🎯🎯🎯

It is £2 a square with the chance of winning a Luke Littler Dartboard and Darts Surround with proceeds going to support our students.

Good Afternoon All

We had another great morning of darts as we played our version of the World Matchplay today, with our Elites, Intermediates and Novices playing down to a final 2 in each category.

In the Elites it would be Alfie Armitage and Ethan Hawden who would make through to next weeks final as they overcame Freddie T and Arthur Ellison in the semifinal 🎯🎯🎯

In the Intermediates we had 15 entries and it would be Cody Bee and Ole Terry who would make it to next weeks final as they overcame Oscar Jones and Kai Lingard in the semifinals 🎯🎯🎯

In the Novices it would be Hayden Browne and Archie Drinkwater who would make it to next weeks final as they overcame Alice Peverley and Zana Baysal in the semifinals 🎯🎯🎯

We will play all 3 finals next Saturday and good luck to all our finalists.

We also want to say well done to Kaya Baysal, Ethan Hawden, Seth White and Arthur Ellison who are all in the top 128 in the World after week 1 of JDC Grading 👏👏👏 keep it going 👍

As always thanks to our coaches and volunteers for everything they do, special mention to Mick Healey and Carl Bevan who have both joined the academy as our newest coaches - welcome to the team.
