The Neilston Participatory Budget vote is taking place on Saturday 30th May from 11am to 1pm in the Glen Halls.

Neilston FC will have a display there as we try to raise much needed funds to help with the costs in setting up our Hugh Blair Football Museum that we are planning at Brig O'Lea Stadium in honour of an incredible servant to the club.

It is important that the history of football in the village is recorded and remembered. Did you know that Northern Ireland's biggest and most successful club Linfield's first ever match against an overseas team was against Neilston in Belfast in 1887. Or that the 3rd biggest football score in all of the history of Scottish senior football actually happened in Neilston when the home side won 24-0 on a football ground now long gone in the village. This was just 3 months after Arbroath's world famous 36-0 win.

If you can make it to the Glen Halls this Saturday please look out for our table and your votes for Neilston FC will support our efforts in making sure future generations can enjoy the amazing legacy of football in the village of Neilston and the great players who went on to greater success elsewhere.

Thank you.

A reminder for tomorrow night folks.

The season may be over but not for us up at Brig O'Lea as we begin to get the park ready for next season. However our strimmer has decided that its season is over for good and has packed up on us.

So we are sending out a wee appeal to the village to see if anyone can help us out with maybe a second hand strimmer?

In fact, anyone who could generously donate a strimmer to the club that they no longer need will have our heartfelt thanks and will receive two season tickets for Neilston FC next season where you can admire our tidy, neat surroundings!

Just contact us here or any of the committee if you can help us.

Thank you.

Anyone going to the game today..

Car Parking at Petershill

The car park at Petershill is controlled by Partick Thistle Charitable Trust, who have introduced a payment system for certain times. It is still free to use for anyone using Petershill Park. To make sure you don't get issued with a penalty notice, please use the tablet at the main reception desk to enter your registration number, and I would suggest you use 4-6 hours as your estimated time of stay.
