What felt like the longest wait to see if the festival would go ahead we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!
With the pitches rock hard and everyone desperately hoping for some rain, the forecast then seemed to turn against us, rain, thunderstorms and weather warnings galore!! But somehow the weather was very kind to us and we were treated to a fantastic weekend of rugby!
A huge thank you to all the teams who travelled down to us and helped make the festival such a success! It was fantastic to see all our young players enjoying themselves and finally getting back to the game they love after the long summer break 🏉💪🏼
Our U7s, U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s and 15s gave it everything, showing fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork and some brilliant rugby throughout the weekend ❤️
A special mention to our U9s, who took part in their first tackling games, a huge milestone for the players and another exciting step in their rugby journey! 💪🏼🏉
BIG Congratulations to Tondu U15s for winning the cup final and Morriston U15s for taking home the plate! Well done, fantastic rugby on show 👏🏼🏆
We couldn’t have put the festival together without the incredible support of our coaches, team managers and volunteers! From setting up, organising the games, keeping things running throughout the weekend, to helping behind the scenes, every single person who give up their time played their part!
