🎨 A stunning new mural celebrating Welsh actor and singer Ivor Emmanuel has been unveiled in Pontrhydyfen.
Painted on the side of The Colliers Arms by renowned mural artist Dave 'Gnasher' Nash, the artwork honours one of the village's most famous sons, best known for his role as Private Owen in the classic film Zulu.
The mural was commissioned by the Burton Bont Festival Group, a community organisation dedicated to celebrating and preserving Pontrhydyfen's rich history and heritage. Through projects like this, the group continues to shine a spotlight on the people, places and stories that make the village so special.
A fantastic community achievement and another great reason to feel proud of our local heritage. ❤️

🎨Mae murlun newydd anhygoel sy’n dathlu’r actor a’r canwr o Gymru Ivor Emmanuel wedi’i ddadorchuddio ym Mhontrhydyfen.
Mae’r gwaith, sydd wedi’i baentio ar ochr The Colliers Arms gan yr artist murluniau adnabyddus Dave ‘Gnasher’ Nash, yn anrhydeddu un o feibion enwocaf y pentref, sy’n fwyaf adnabyddus am ei rôl fel Private Owen yn y ffilm glasurol Zulu.
