🎨🛹🛴Poster Competition ! 🛴🛹🎨

We are campaigning for a new skatepark in Great Horkesley and need a new poster designed.

Are there any budding artists out there who would like to draw something we can use on our poster ?

Skaters , scooters , BMXers, Rollerskaters !

2020 is a historical year for skateboarding because it is the 1st year skateboarding will be in the Olympics so perhaps you could draw yourself as a future Olympic skateboarder with your own gold medal ! 🥇

Please take photos of your designs and put them on this page (or send them by fb message and we will post them on here )

Keep the original masterpieces and we can collect them later on.

Amazing support already, thank you everyone for signing the petition and sharing !

Suggestions welcomed on location and any other facilities we could push for like a basketball hoop or tennis court like in Stoke by Nayland. Even a small skatepark, set of ramps or mini bowl would give kids a reason to get outside and be active ! The housing developers need to pump funding back into community projects 😁

Please sign the petition for a skatepark in Great Horkesley. There are so many new houses being built but there is nothing to do here for kids and families. There is funding available but we need to prove demand ! Please sign and share to support this vital resource for our community. Skating is great fun and an amazing way to keep fit and active. A small skatepark or even just a small set of ramps or mini bowl would be great for kids and people of all ages to use. 2020 is the first year in history that skateboarding will be in the Olympics so there has never been a better time to get outside and get skating !

With so many new houses being built, the population is booming and there is not enough for people to do in Great Horkesley. The housing developers have funds for community resources to help support the growth in residents. We would love a new skatepark to be built here so please support our mission and help raise support for a great cause !
