🏏 Weekly Junior Cricket Round-Up 🏏

Despite the threatening weather last week, we’re delighted that all fixtures managed to dodge the rain and go ahead!

It was another fantastic week for the club, with plenty of wins across the age groups and some excellent cricket being played throughout. With a mixture of league and cup fixtures taking place, several teams are enjoying double-header weeks, giving our young players even more opportunities to get out on the field and represent the club.

Friday night’s training session was brilliant, with a fantastic turnout from our junior section. It’s great to see so many young cricketers developing their skills and enjoying their cricket together.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the pizza van on the night. It certainly looked busy throughout the evening, and we’re sure you’ll agree the pizzas went down very well! 🍕👏

Looking ahead, there’s another busy week in store with league fixtures, cup matches and catch-up games from earlier in the season when the weather got the better of us. Don’t forget that All Stars and junior training return on Friday evening as well.

What a night at the club! ☀️🏏

The sun finally made an appearance and it was fantastic to see the ground buzzing with activity. We had full training groups right across the club, from our All Stars (ages 5+) through to our Girls’ section and all junior age groups from U8s to U15s.

The energy, enthusiasm and smiles on display made for a brilliant evening and it’s great to see so many young cricketers enjoying the game.

A special thank you to Pizza for joining us tonight. 🍕 They were a massive hit with players, parents and coaches alike, and the pizzas went down a treat!

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a successful evening. Here’s to many more like it throughout the season! 💚 🏏

🏏 Weekly Round-Up & Fixtures Update 🏏

It was another busy week at the club, although the weather had other ideas at the start of the week, with rain disrupting some of the action.

The Ladies team, enjoyed a fantastic week by winning both of their matches! 👏

We also saw our girls combine with Oulton Park to form a team for the Middlewich Festival on Sunday. In their very first outing together, they went on to win the festival and bring home the trophy! 🏆 What a brilliant achievement and a great day for everyone involved. Well done girls!

Now onto this week…

We’ve started in the best possible way, with both teams picking up victories last night. 💪 A fantastic start to another busy week of cricket.

There are plenty more games to come over the next few days, so keep an eye on our fixtures and get down to support the teams if you can.

Another busy week of fixtures ahead for the club! 🏏

After enjoying some glorious weather last week, we’re hoping the weather stays on our side this week. Unfortunately, on the first day of matches last night, rain brought play to a halt — let’s hope that the rest of the week we manage to dodge it as We’ve got a packed schedule of league and cup games coming up, with plenty of cricket to look forward to across all teams.

here’s a look back at last week’s results 🏏

Lots of wins from both our junior and senior teams 👏

There have been plenty of league games, knockout matches and cup games played, with some fantastic performances throughout the club.

We also had our first All Stars training session on Friday, and it was brilliant to welcome over 20 children aged 5–8 down to have a go! 🌟

All Stars really is the perfect way to get your little ones into cricket in a fun and friendly environment. There’s still plenty of time to join, with 7 more weeks left of the programme for boys and girls in Years 1–3.

If your child would like to come along and enjoy the fun, everyone is welcome! 💚
