Do you want to shape up, tone up for the big day? Join us for 'Shredding for your Wedding'. Make this your first "I DO".

If you’re hoping to look and feel your best self on your big day, it's important to look beyond the scales. By changing your lifestyle to include regular exercise and a healthy, balanced diet you’ll maintain a healthy weight and look good long term. Incorporating regular exercise will also give you more energy and help relieve the symptoms of stress and anxiety that come with planning the big day.

With the majority of restrictions of the past two years scheduled to be lifted next week, you may be feeling free and more motivated than ever to not only have your dream wedding but to be in your best shape and feel your best on the big day.

Weddings can cause jitters for everyone. Diving into a crash diet will only add to your anxiety. "Crash" or "fad” diets are often based on eating far fewer calories than is sustainable. The scales may change, but deceptively so. Your body is most likely losing water rather than bodyfat. If you restrict your calories for long enough, your body will conserve fat and start using lean muscle tissue for energy. Extreme dieting can sometimes result in a variety of unpleasant symptoms, e.g. fatigue, constipation, diarrhoea, palpitations, as well as having an adverse effect on your hair, nails, and skin, many as a result of nutritional deficiencies. Not what you want on your wedding day of all days.

In the same way that you might meet with a caterer to plan a menu based on your tastes and budget, consider consulting with a Personal Trainer to outline a training programme based on your goals and timescale. If you commit to scheduled appointments, you’ll be less likely to cancel and more likely to stay on track. Working with a Personal Trainer can help keep you focused and motivated, as well as provide guidance to help you reach your goals efficiently and effectively. Combining regular exercise with sensible healthy eating will support any weight loss target by increasing your metabolism meaning you will lose weight more efficiently. Exercise also helps you get a better quality of sleep too.

Maybe someone else in your wedding party has a similar goal in which case you could buddy up and train/support each other.

If you would like to lose some weight for your wedding factor it into your wedding planning from the start. Don’t leave it until the last minute! Ideally you want to lose 1lb – 2lbs per week. Again, a PT will be able to advise you on a realistic timescale.

Only one week’s pass will be given to each individual.

This promotion runs from 1st - 31st March.

🔸IN NEED OF INSPIRATION??🔸

Have the previous two years of being in and out of lockdown reeked havoc with your fitness and exercise routine? Are you lacking motivation and struggling to get back into it? If so, take a look at Jen. In six months Jen has transformed herself from being overweight and unfit, struggling to keep up at football training to reducing her bodyweight by 17kg, taking 18cm (7”) off her waist, becoming fitter and stronger to the point where she loves her training, is able to last 90 mins on the pitch and now has the confidence to do group fitness classes too.

Jen has just 5lbs to reach her target weight we initially set for her, following her health and fitness assessments. Once she has reached her target weight, we will reassess her health and fitness and review her ongoing aims and objectives.

Jen is so happy in herself, is so much more confident and feels and looks fantastic! She is a true inspiration to anyone looking to do what she’s achieved and turn their dreams and wishes to be fit, strong, look and feel amazing into a reality.
