What a great start to the World Masters MTB Orienteering Championships! We set up our event village to provide mechanical and tyre support to over 350 competitors travelling from all four corners of the globe on Tuesday. It is such a buzz to see how far riders have travelled (our first customers were from Japan!) The Champs takes place every year, moving around the globe each year, this is the first in Scotland for a long time with the previous being in 1994. Some incredible bikes taking part too, the paddock often having a MTB XC World Cup feel to it. Thanks to John for right hand man work and Jake from for none stop grafting all day and good luck to everyone competing - what a blast! Plenty of action left with a round in Lossiemouth woods tomorrow and Darnaway on Saturday.

We are very pleased to be asked to support the World Masters MTB Orienteering Championship in Forres Next week. The event is attracting competitors from all over Europe to take part in a five day programme of racing across Moray. Stops have been pulled put at to provide technical support throughout the event, with help from Jake joining us to offer expert tyre selection and fitting services. Looking forward to help show off the excellent riding opportunities in our neck of the woods :-)

Thanks for all the messages about the impromptu day off :-) Me and Jim were aiming for Ben Alder from Dalwhinnie, but weather looked uninviting on the day so a quick scan of the weather map pointed us northwest. Kenmore to Applecross became a well picked plan B, delightful singletrack flavours to be enjoyed and a classic Shieldaig sunset evening on the way back. A quick lesson in seizing the day learnt. Where to next...?
