Nailsea & Backwell Touch Rugby The page of the Nailsea & Backwell Touch Rugby team. With mixed teams of all ages and abilities everyone is welcome to try out this great sport.

We look forward to meeting you. We run 3 sessions a week, each with a slightly different emphasis; Everyone is welcome to attend all sessions;

Monday is a competitive league held in Frenchay, Bristol;

Thursday is our ‘club’ night which is intended to give us an opportunity to develop our game play and offer more competitive games - minimum age is 16;

Friday is our development night where we

can deliver the game basics and inclusive games for all. Minimum age is 13

We have a coaching team lead by an England Touch coaching qualification, we also have a few England touch qualified referees

What a day yesterday at Touch ’N’ C***r!
Plenty of fun was had by all, with some fantastic games, great atmosphere and plenty of c***r flowing!

And, of course, congratulations to Bristol Jets Touch Rugby , who were crowned champions… AGAIN!

A massive thank you to our brilliant team of volunteers, who kept everything running smoothly and made sure everyone was well fed and watered throughout the day. You’re absolute legends!

And, of course, a huge thank you to our first aid team, who did a fantastic job picking people up off the floor when they’d hurt themselves.

Celebrating our Juniors at the England Touch Junior Nationals last weekend with the !

The U14s and U12s Boys both came away with gold medals along with coaches Chris and Paul, whilst the U14s and U12s Girls both came away with silver medals.

Wow we have an incredible 16 players representing the this weekend at the junior nationals spanning all age ranges both boys and girls!

On top of that we also have two referees and two coaches supporting the team!

This is down to the hard work of our junior coaches bringing in the next generation of touch players and caps of an amazing season of national and international representation for the club!

What a great tour to Truro!

After some competitive games against Truro Trojans Touch Exeter Touch Rugby Forest Falcons Touch Rugby Bristol Jets Touch Rugby and UOB alumni we ended up finishing in the top 4!

Our very own Imi Webber was also named female MVP for the day!

Thanks for organising a great weekend Truro Trojans Touch we can't wait to come back next year!
