Ever since I’ve started bootcamp with James, I’ve not looked back!

I love the feeling of using weights and getting stronger. πŸ’ͺ

I like seeing some muscle and I feel more empowered after a workout and it makes me want to get fitter! πŸ’₯

I started lifting 3kg when I started and now I’m using up to 10kg in some exercises.

James is great, he pushes you but never makes you feel stupid or unsupported.

If you want more, he will push you more. πŸ’₯πŸš€

It’s a great group of people and we work out hard but have a laugh too.

You’re not alone!

We all want to make the most of the weekend, whether it’s going out with friends or family for meals out, drinks in the sunshine 🌞 (or mostly rain β˜”οΈ) or that feel good takeaway whilst having a cosy night in.

All of this is ok, it's part of life and we often use this downtime to switch off, recover and enjoy our free time. πŸ™Œ

But how do we manage to keep on track of our health and fitness goals while completely getting rid of these things we enjoy? πŸ€”

Simple…..

We just make better choices! πŸ₯—πŸ₯€

- Choose lower calories where possible πŸ₯¦
- Skip the starter or dessert 🍰
- Reduce the portion sizes of the rest of the meals that day if you’re having a big meal in the evening 🍽️
- Hit a lower calorie target during the week 🎯

Following on from my last post, running tends to be a "go to" for most beginners as it's simple, cheap, and good for you, right?! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
