Hi all, just been bought to my attention that the post I thought I'd posted wasn't actually posted! Juniors will NOT start this week; I am hoping to begin again NEXT term.

Happy New Year Juniors!! I have decided that juniors will take a term off. I don't like using the hall as I've learnt that the children need (and generally want) to be outside to get the most from the running sessions. Therefore, Run:Nailsea Juniors will restart after February half term (Tuesday 20th February), when its hopefully a bit warmer and lighter. Thanks all!

Last session of the year today, so the Juniors combined running with Christmas games, jumpers and music. Thank you all for a wonderful term, looking forward to running with you all in 2018!

WHAT AN AWESOME MORNING OF RUNNING!! Run:Nailsea Juniors Santa Run was a roaring success. Superb performances across all age groups, the runners worked so hard. Well done everyone!!

Weather looks tip top for tomorrow's Santa Run!

Run: Nailsea Juniors Santa Run THIS SUNDAY 3rd December - SOLD OUT.
Unfortunately, there will be no on-the-day entry available.

However - do come along and cheer the children on, grab a mince pie, have a go at the AWESOME Days Out Tombola, and maybe win a Christmas treat or 2! Schedule for the event:

***PLEASE ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME TO REGISTER AND COLLECT YOU BIB NUMBER & SANTA HAT***

The races kick off at 11am with an under 5's 50m dash, followed by:

The Grove Santa Run 1 (ages 4-6) approx 1km - 11.15am

The Grove Santa Run 2 (ages 7-9) approx 1.5km - 11.30am

The Grove Santa Run 3 (ages 10-12) approx 2km - 11.45 am

The Grove Santa Long Run (open to all children aged 12 & under) approx 3km - 12.15pm (children racing in another event can run this free of charge and do not need to book online. The bib number you will receive will be valid for both runs)

Following the races, mince pies, coffee, and bar available inside The Grove.

All participants will receive a Santa Hat & bespoke medal. Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group (except 50m dash) will be presented following the last race.

What a fab session - we managed to get in some stamina training for the upcoming Santa Run whilst it was still light! Super effort 👍
