Six-point-something miles of Cragg Vale.
Sounds perfectly reasonable, doesn’t it?

Our 10K is a brilliant choice if you want a proper challenge without committing to the full 10 Mile. Race it, run it with friends or simply see what you can do.

Fast at the front, determined at the back and absolutely everyone welcome in between.

MEET THE CRAGG CHALLENGE: THE 10 MILE

The big one on foot.

Ten miles through the stunning Calder Valley, with plenty of Yorkshire scenery and enough climbing to make sure you know you’ve earned that finish!

Whether you're racing it, chasing a PB, stepping up your distance or simply fancy ten miles somewhere a little more interesting, the Cragg Challenge 10 Mile is waiting for you.

WHAT IS THE CRAGG CHALLENGE?
One road.
One valley.
A whole day of running, riding and taking on a challenge your way.

The Cragg Challenge returns on Sunday 27 June 2027, bringing together runners, cyclists, families, clubs and anyone who fancies testing themselves on the roads around Cragg Vale.

You don’t have to be chasing a podium. You don’t have to be the fastest. You just need to pick your challenge and get involved.

And there’s plenty to choose from:

🏃 10K Run
🏃 5K Run
🏃 1 Mile Run
🚴 Cycle Hill Climb
🚴 Cycle Time Trial
🚴 Sportive
⛰️ Oliver Collinge Climb
