Please join us in giving a massive welcome to Ava Burns! 🔵⚪️

Ava joins us as a powerful midfielder who brings a real burst of energy every time she is on the ball. While she is naturally a right-sided player, Ava is a true utility asset, looking equally comfortable bossing the centre of the park or slotting into the defence to strengthen the backline. 🛡️⚽️

Coming to us with valuable Next Gen experience, we are delighted to have her on board. Her versatility and high work rate make her a perfect fit for our powerhouse squad as we continue to push forward in Division 1. 🌟✨

The Windsor girls are back on the road this Saturday as we make the short journey up the road to visit Dalkeith! 🚌⚽️

This fixture marks the final game of our current block in the SE U14 Joelle Murray League. It has been a relentless and exciting journey for the squad so far, and the girls are determined to finish this period on a high before a well-earned break. 🔵⚪️

The squad is ready to bring that unbeatable Windsor spirit to the pitch once more, showcasing the sharp passing and teamwork that has defined our first competitive season. Let’s get the Windsor Army along to the campus to cheer the girls on for this local clash! 📣🙌

🤝 SPOILS SHARED AT POLTONHALL 🤝

The Windsor girls were back in league action on Saturday for a tough away trip to face Bonnyrigg McCabe in the SE U14 Joelle Murray League. 🚌⚽️

It was a very physical encounter from the first whistle, but our girls rose to the challenge and put in a fantastic shift, particularly in a dominant second half. The coaching team were delighted to see the squad playing some really lovely football, with the passing patterns worked on at training being executed brilliantly on the pitch. 🔵⚪️

We controlled the majority of the play and looked set for the points, but it was a case of déjà vu following our 3-3 pre-season thriller back in February. Just like that day, we were incredibly unlucky to concede a goal right at the death, leaving the final score at 2-2. 🏟️💔

The final stages were particularly difficult as we lost both our goalkeeper, Imogen, and a key defender, Ellie B, to knocks. This late disruption certainly didn't help our cause as we conceded that late equaliser, despite a valiant effort from Allie who bravely stepped between the sticks to see us through to the whistle. 🧤🧱

Saturday also marked a special milestone as Lacey Green made her Windsor debut! 🌟 Lacey took the step up to Division 1 in her stride, and we are excited to see her continue to settle into the squad. 🤝✨

The point on the road keeps us in a strong position, currently sitting in 4th place in the league table! 📈💪

We are back on home turf for our next fixture as we welcome Bonnyrigg Selkirk to Pinkie. After a series of tough away games, the girls are looking forward to being back in front of the home support! 🏠⚽️

Lacey joins the squad as a strong midfielder who brings fantastic energy, vision, and technical ability on the ball. Having previously served as team captain at her former Tier 2 club, she brings great leadership experience that will complement our powerhouse squad perfectly as we continue to grow together. 🛡️⚽️

After a well-earned break last weekend to rest and recover from recent knocks and strains, the Windsor girls are ready to get back into the thick of it this Saturday! 🚌⚽️

We travel to face Bonnyrigg McCabe in our next SE U14 Joelle Murray League fixture. We know from our pre-season encounter - a thrilling 3-3 draw back in February - that they are a very tough and competitive side, so the girls are prepared for a massive shift to keep their momentum going in the league. 🔵⚪️

The squad has used the extra time on the training pitch to sharpen up and is eager to get back to match day. Let’s get the Windsor Army out in force to cheer them on! 🏟️✨

🔋 REST & RECOVERY: REFUELING THE WINDSOR TANK! 🔋

The Windsor girls have a well-earned free weekend ahead! 💆‍♀️⚽️

After a demanding start to the league campaign and a few too many visits to the physio's room recently, we are taking this Saturday off to rest, recover, and shake off those niggly knocks and strains. It's been a relentless run of fixtures - from the heat of Ainslie Park to the Windsor Derby at Pinkie - and the squad has definitely earned some downtime to get everyone back to 100% fitness. 🔵⚪️

We’ll be back on the training pitch during the week to sharpen up and work on our lessons from the last match. All eyes are now on our return to league action as we travel to face Bonnyrigg McCabe on Saturday, 6th June! 🚌💨

🏰 WINDSOR DERBY: A CLASSROOM SESSION AT PINKIE! 🏰

It was a case of "big sister knows best" at Pinkie last night as our 2013s went toe-to-toe with the Windsor 2012 Girls. 🔵⚪️

While it’s never fun being on the wrong side of a result, there’s absolutely no shame in getting a bit of a footballing lesson from your older sisters! 😂 The 2012s showed exactly why they are a year further along in their development, providing a clinical example of what we can aim for as we continue our own journey. 🛡️⚽️

The surface at Pinkie didn't do our usual passing game many favours - the long grass certainly held things up - but the girls kept their heads up and battled until the final whistle. The coaching team held a great chat afterwards, and the squad is already looking at the key takeaways they can borrow from the older girls to make themselves even stronger. 📈💪

Despite the result, we are still sitting in a fantastic 3rd place in the league table! 🥉✨
