🌟 Exciting News 🌟

We are incredibly proud to announce that two amazing members of our club were nominated for Lothian Disability Sport Awards in recognition of their exceptional contributions to disability sport!

🏅 Daniel has been nominated for Outstanding Service to Disability Sport.
Over the past eight years, Daniel has grown from a Duke of Edinburgh volunteer into a dedicated and inspiring swim coach. His compassion, creativity, and unwavering belief that disability is never a barrier have had a profound impact on our swimmers and the wider club community. Daniel goes above and beyond to ensure every swimmer feels capable and included—and his work with Jenna this past year has truly exemplified what inclusive coaching can achieve.

🏅 Jenna has been nominated for Outstanding Commitment to Personal Sporting Development.
Since joining the club just over a year ago, Jenna has shown incredible determination, courage, and resilience. Born without upper limbs, she took on the challenge of learning to swim not just for fitness, but to conquer a lifelong fear. Through hard work and belief in herself, she’s now confidently swimming lengths and inspiring everyone around her. Jenna’s journey has been transformational—and she’s now a role model to so many in the club.

These nominations are a huge honour and a testament to the incredible spirit within our Flyers family. Please join us in congratulating Daniel and Jenna—we are so proud of everything they’ve achieved and the positivity they bring to the pool every week! 🧡

🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️Rookie Lifeguard Open Day!

Join us this Sunday from 10 - 11am at North Berwick Sports Centre for a fun-filled morning of water activities as we celebrate the launch of the Rookie Lifeguard programme!

We’ve partnered with Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) to deliver their Rookie Lifeguard Pool Programme, which helps children build their confidence, develop teamwork skills, and foster leadership. Find out more on our website: https://buff.ly/CwQUqk3

ASN schools/schools with ASN departments or pupils with ASN are invited to apply for the project, where, if successful, they will receive a FREE use of a FloorCurl kit to borrow for the school year.

Schools will take part in a FloorCurl workshop, as well as receiving coaching resources at the start of the project.
