If you’ve been thinking about trying something new or getting back into moving, this is a good place to start 😃

🔋 Tuesday morning HIIT (high intensity interval training) is less intense than it sounds.

It just means we work through periods of movement and rest.

The aim is to get your heart rate up, build some functional strength, and start the day feeling more energised (more than a coffee ever could).

💪 Thursday strength circuits are all about building strength in a way that actually helps you in everyday life.

It’s not about being better than anyone else - just a bit better than you were last week.

Everything is done at your own level, and always adapted to fit around you.

💃 Dance fitness is exactly what it sounds like - just moving and enjoying it.

A mix of different styles from Latin to country, and a chance to switch off, have a laugh, and get out of your head for a bit.

It’s great for physical health, but also coordination and keeping your brain active.

Here’s everything you need to know for this month:

🌅 Morning HIIT is moving to 6:15am
📅 There will be no session on the 12th
💪 All other classes running as normal

You don’t have to train for aesthetics.

And you don’t have to wait for the “perfect time” to start again.

Sometimes it’s just about moving your body and getting back into it.

If you’ve had an injury, a setback, or you’ve just fallen out of routine, strength training can be one of the most powerful ways to rebuild. Not just physically but mentally too.

Strength Circuits aren’t about ego lifting. They’re about:

• Rebuilding confidence in your body
• Feeling strong in your own skin
• Proving to yourself you can do hard things
• Getting stronger for everyday life
• Supporting your mental health through movement
• Doing it alongside a community of like-minded people

Yes, strength training helps with longevity - stronger bones, healthier joints, staying independent as you age.

But it’s also about the now.

👉 Being able to carry what you need without struggling.
👉 Saying yes to the hike, the swim, the adventure.
👉 Keeping up with your kids.
👉 Making the most of your body and everything it can do - right now.

We lift.
We move.
We build strong, capable bodies.
And we enjoy the process.

On my way to my morning HIIT session today, the guy on the radio announced it was Rubber Ducky Day 🦆

…and also Make Your Dreams Come True Day ✨

What a fitting day.

So many people make January 1st their reset point.
But that reset is usually tinted by having had loads of time off, eating loads of food, and spending time back in the family home or with family - which, let’s be real, can sometimes leave you feeling like you haven’t achieved as much as you actually have.

So from now on, my new year “reset” is going to be January 13th - Make Your Dreams Come True Day.

By now, you’ve had time to:
- get back into a routine
- reflect on the year that’s gone
- set some new goals
- and actually prepare yourself to hit the ground running

Dreams are just what we want. They’re versions of ourselves we feel would make us happier, stronger, more confident, more fulfilled - and able to do the things we want to do in life.

But dreams are just words unless we put steps in place and take action.

One of my favourite quotes growing up (and still is) is Dream. Believe. Achieve.

Diversity used it a lot (and I was obsessed with them😅), but it’s true - unless you believe in your dreams and put the work in, they’ll always just stay dreams.

So, in the words of - what’s your dream?

And what’s one thing you can do in the next month that will move you one step closer?

Keeping it fitness related:

If your dream is to run a marathon but you haven’t run in a while, maybe this month you commit to:
- one run or walk a week
- one strength or mobility session

It doesn’t have to be massive.

Big dreams are achieved by breaking them down into achievable steps.

That’s what Sum Circle is all about - small changes, small wins, small goals… that eventually add up to big change and achieving big dreams ✨

Now that things are getting back into the swing of normal life, this week is the perfect time to come and try a session or two 😃

2026 has already brought plenty of stress with the ice, then storm Goretti which has affected water/electricity for days…it’s hard to believe we are only 12 days in! 😅

Moving your body is one of the best ways to reset, sweat away the stress and feel human again.
